  Area L Summer REFEREE Classes!
July 26-27 in Lake Forest.
Intermediate, Advanced & National Referee upgrade class is available. (see Ref Page)

Please DO NOT use the restrooms belonging to the schools where the fields are located. The region does not have a permit for this and after some recent complaints/incidents, our continued use of the fields is in question.

Soccer parents are not allowed to use parking area, used by the ESP parents. Soccer parents should not be using the ESP parking area to drop off.

Please practice away from the fencing so that the balls do not end up in the neighbors’ yards and under no circumstances should the players be climbing the fence to retrieve balls.  The region will lose use of the fields if this occurs.

McDonald’s Corporation
along with Chivas USA would like to have our AYSO children escort the Chivas players onto the field for the balance of their home games. For more information, follow this link.

The Golden Pumas, the U10 girls Gold All-Star team are Area K Champions

The  GOLDEN  P U M A S,  a U10 girls Gold All-Star team from Region 117, swept the Area K tournament in Orange this last weekend. Great teamwork from all parts of the field helped them attain the impressive record of 39 goals for and only 3 against, including 6 shutouts. During the eight games played, Malia Browne remained steady and focused in the goal, assisted by the aggressive play of defenders Kiana Dinsmore, Natalie Peters, and Sabrina Wahab.

Opposing forwards were repeatedly denied access to the goal by this trio of strong, determined players. In the mid-field, Rachel Flory and Jenna Low raced up and down the field, wrestling the ball away from the opposing team and coming forward to score as well.

Forwards Sarah Djafri, Brooke Escala, and Sarah Steinhaus handled the ball with ease, sending many accurate passes to the middle for scoring opportunities.

The  P U M A S  are coached by D.J. Flory, Chris Low, and Pete Escala who look forward to the next level of competition. The  GOLDEN  P U M A S  will represent Area K in the Section 11 tournament in San Marcos in early March.
