Winter/Spring 5v5 Program

Season 9 5v5 Winter/Spring 2026

Program Overview

The AYSO Region 117 5v5 Soccer Program offers players an exciting opportunity to develop their skills in a fast-paced, small-sided format. All sessions are held at Ocean View High School Stadium Turf on Tuesday evenings from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM, using a Futsal ball for enhanced control and technique.

Program Highlights

Season 5, 5v5 Shirt for each participant
45 minutes of Coerver Training focused on technical skill development
45-minute league match in a 5v5 format

We encourage coaches to schedule regular team practices on alternate days or excuse players from practice who are participating in the 5v5 program.

Special Program for 08U Coed:

One-hour session combining ½ training and ½ play
Players will not be assigned to fixed teams; they will be mixed weekly for fun and development
